Title of publication - placed in the top third.So it is visible to the audience and the title is big and bold also the colour of title is black and white. GQ stands for Gentlemen Quarterly.

slogan - The slogan for GQ is Look Sharp - Live Smart, this is a short and catchy which there audience can remember.

Central Image - They used Jaden Smith because he is a fashion icon also he is a teenage model, this uses star power to engage their audience as there central image is a famous model,and they want people to pick it up and read it.

2 Find a NEGATIVE (conventional) representation of young people and write a paragraph explaining why it is negative.


This picture denotes that a group of young people stealing stuff from a broken shop. This might mean that all young people steal and don't care about what they do as they is a young male running away from the scene. This also signify that young people are

This picture denotes a group of teenage with brooms and bin bags. This might mean that they are helping out the community, by clearing up rubbish.This also signify that not all teenagers don't help the community and they can help too.

  1. A bold, snappy title reflecting the ethos of your magazine in the top third. What is your title? What does it connote (suggest) to audience? What is your magazine ABOUT?     My title will be PRESTIGE .This CONNOTES style and a Figure or a role model, also my magazine will be about fashion. 


  1. -Rule of thirds- how will you use this?   My title will be on the top of the magazine and I will have a central image covering the page , also around it will be other stories or thing.


  1. -A tag line linking to your title - what is this and how will it link to your title? My tag will be ' Don't wait,seize today  '. This links because you can have it now , Style and school.

  1. -A strong central image using a medium close up / close up / medium shot (no bigger than this and no more than two people; strongest covers use one) What is this image going to show? I've used medium shot. I have myself as my main central image.It is going show fashion and school and i will holding a book and my blazer to show studying and my fashion. 

  1. -A colour scheme of three main colours which signify certain connotations you want your target audience to take away with them. The three colours will blue, white , light pink.


  1. -The letter 'i' and the word 'free' as this is a supplement with the 'i' newspaper- where is this going to be included? (eg will you incorporate it into your title?) The 'i' will used in my title and 'FREE' will included on top left. 


  1. -A main cover line that is related to the central image and is dominant and placed where the eye goes after the title. The main cover title will be bottom middle.It will be big and bold.


  1. -Three or four 'flashes' or secondary cover lines telling the reader in short phrases (without connectives) what will be in the magazine. There should be a theme running through these stories that works with your overall ethos. 


  1. -Perhaps a competition - WIN a Apple macbook, it will be on the bottom banner in pink.


  1. -Perhaps a strap line at the top and / or bottom of the cover to make it look stylish and clean. It will have strap line at top and the bottom.


  1. -Font choice should be consistent and bold and eye-catching (no hard-to-read fonts please or ones that resemble handwriting!) The font choice will be the same as the flash line.


  1. -Some links to social media or something that suggests that the target audience can engage with your product on more than one media platform. It will linked to snap chat , Instagram and twitter.
