The story line of this film is that there is a group of villains that have been chosen to do some good.This suits the genre of action as they have to defeat a monster has took over Midway city. Also this movie has fantasy so it would have a unusual  story line,a feeling of escapism and will be full of entertainment.

CHARACTER
The characters are typically of action and adventure -they are a group of villains that have been made to save New York from a monster trying to take over but there is one female villain who is in love with the joker and throughout the task they have been set the joker is hatching a plan to get free and be with him.

ICONOGRAPHY 
There is plenty of iconography as this a  action and adventure film.There are fights,guns shots ,explosion,main masculine actor.There are villains too i know this because  they are in dark clothes and they have done evil things such as murder,theft,etc.The have a fine line between genius and insanity.

SETTING
IT starts in a maximum security prison for supernatural humans.This is a great setting because  the film is based on action of supernatural villains  who are made to save midway city from the monster trying to take over it.In the trailer it shows that they have been given weapons which shows there will be fights and explosions.
